The NAACP Las Vegas Branch invites high school students to join the Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological, and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO). This year-long program is designed to nurture talent in STEM, arts, healthcare, business, and more, with the opportunity to develop projects and performances guided by mentors and community volunteers. Join us for an exciting day filled with live music, delicious food, and activities that are fun for all ages. We have a fantastic lineup of events including free haircuts for kids, vibrant face painting, and thrilling spades, uno and dominoes tournaments.

Municipal court and district court judges are the courts that we are most likely to encounter. Municipal court handles issues like traffic tickets and city ordinance violations. District court judges handle issues ranging from felonies to juvenile court. Judges decide how justice is administered in our communities. YOU can decide who the judges become.
